I haven't even been watching that much TV. At the moment it consists of Children's TV on Channel 5, and I will admit I do like the cartoons myself including Spongebob, which has been on Channel 5 sometimes, or it is Thomas the Tank Engine, Noddy and Henry loves Pepper Pig.
I miss the old cartoons though. I loved Cartoon Time and do love the old classics such as Christmas Carol and A Bugs life and I do love a good classic Disney Song, such as "A Whole New World" from the Disney Film Aladdin. What can I say I am an old romantic and still a kid at times. I love the seeing Henry smile when he watches Pepper Pig, and now my son loves the Teletubbies. He loves Countdown, still too. He has been saying Rachel, the lady who puts up the letters and numbers on the board.
I remember when the Teletubbies first came about, I was working for a advertising company back then, and it was during the Rugby years too, and was given the nickname La La. I wore a big giant Union Jack hat and there is a photo of me wearing it somewhere. I will have to dish it out and I will shamefully put it up on my blog.
It is amazing the phases you go through in life. My last favourite boy band was New Kids on the Block, now and from I would say 1996 I fell in love with Bon Jovi, and love rock music. Well I love all sorts but bands like Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses and Def Leopard are still bands I love today. Then there is Status Quo, I have always been a big fan, and got to see them play live during the Rugby League World Cup. I will put up some of my old photos of those days.
They always make me smile.
I am so due a music festival or a concert.
Who remembers Fraggle Rock, Number 73, Sesame Street and Dungeons and Dragons.
You can't beat the classics
The book I am reading at the moment is called "Secret She Left Behind" by Diane Chamberlain.
It is about a girl called Maggie who spends a year in prison, due to play a part in a fire caused. It is written from the perspective of each character involved. Maggie now is out of prisons wants to be annoymous and shut herself away. Keith's who was one of the survivors, mum Sara goes missing.
I have gotten a bit lost in parts, but is interesting. I will write a review once I finished the book.
There still is a bag to give to charity. It is good way to donate good condition clothes, accessories and shoes or even kitchen wear, old Jewellery boxes, books and why not if you make cards, clothes or craft why not give these away too. Even jewellery apart from of course worn earrings, but bracelets, earrings still in packaging never worn, or rings are a good way to give to charity too. A great way to make a difference to someone.
Today I am off to meet my friends for lunch. Looking forward to it, and so gonna hop on a bus or train and be on my way.
Sun is out a bit cold but just feels good to be out. I love being outdoors now, so gonna make the most of it.
I will post again soon.
Many thanks for reading,
