I would say if you are planning to visit such attractions to pre-book, as it can save you a lot of money when doing so.
I also been taking my son on more days out, one being in Putney, there is a lovely park along the river, if you walk towards Putney Bridge, Wandsworth side, down Putney High Street, and then turn right, carrying on walking down along the river you will come along to it.
It has a playground with swings and climbing frames, a massive green lawn with a football pitch laid out, tennis court and a Pitch and Putt area, where you can have a bite to eat and a drink.
I have been working through part of it, on Friday, Saturday and due to work on Monday. I have enjoyed my first Easter Sunday off I have had in a while, having a coffee, taking my son to the park, went for a drive to see what shops were open, then came home. Whilst catching up on my blogs, watched a good classic film, called Watership Down.
Now we are going to have a nice roast.
I would also like to send a message to my Auntie Gail who turned 70 this week, and so my cousins threw a surprise birthday party. Sadly I wasn't able to go but I know from speaking to my mum, it was a good evening.
For me Easter is about spending time getting chores done, spending time with the ones you love. When I was a kid we used to go all out for Easter, and we did treat it as a big day, like Christmas and would spend the whole time with family.
Now so much has changed. So to those who spend time with family during these holidays, I would say make the most of them, as those times will change as people grow up and people start to move on.
However it is going to be nice with Henry having his first Easter's and we will make it a special for him as it was to us, but it will be just different. Once he knows more about this time of year, then we will do more for this holiday.
So to everyone have a great time off and I will blog more next week.
Many thanks for reading,
