My son is now in Nursery and has settled in very well. It did take a few sessions, where he did cry when I left, which was heart wrenching and I did cry aswell. You can't help but feel bad, even though I know I am not doing a bad thing.
Henry has also had another Audiology test which went well, they are definitely sure that his hearing is good. He heard the sounds from the speakers that were in the room very well. However they wish to do another test in 6 months time, because they wanted to check each ear separately, but by the time they tried Henry had, had enough.
He has also had a Multi Discipline Assessment which is seeing how he interacts. If he copies when the Occupational Therapist builds bricks, etc. How he plays with a ball, climbs and language.
Since Henry has begun Nursery his speech is getting better and has started to make sentences, not always clear but I can hear him when he is in his room and I am next door, having a good old conversation with his cuddly toy spongebob.
I talk more in this video.
