So Elv (husband) and I went out on Friday, but was still indoors by 8:30pm, we just got so tired due to the week we have had, well I would say two weeks.

We woke up this morning with our bathroom floor in water. Burst pipe, not what you need at 3am in the morning.

However looking at the things I have enjoyed this passed week, I have been playing "We are the World" USA Africa, which was first produced and released in the 80's.

You know when you have reached a peak in your age, when you can say that I remember the first time this record or cassette tape, back then, came out. CD's were really expensive back then, and there were no streaming or downloading, or apps back then.

There are records for me that will never grow old, and what I love about this record is the combination of Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen, two totally different voices but their duo in this song is just a "goosebumps" moment; It hits right in the centre of your heart and you can feel the sound all through you, and you think how these two can work together, you'd think on paper they would clash, and all the voices in this record for that matter, but the way it was produced and put together was brilliant and the same for "Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time" the British Africa song, which came out in the 80's at Christmas Time and is still being played today.

The combination of some great artists who have created memorable everlasting music on their own. One mans mind and imagination, created a legacy that will go on for years.

I have always loved music and it is something that can change your mood instantly and take you away from all the troubles you have had, just in that moment.

Many thanks for reading, and have a great week peeps,

Carrie X
