Some Pictures of some my favourite places and times this year so far

This year I have spent some valuable time in my most favourite places with my favourite people. Visiting family is always a favourite and we spent a lovely weekend in Southampton, where we took a trip to Portsmouth for the day.

I love the parks in London, my favourites being Hyde Park and Battersea Park. We, my hubby, son and I took a lovely trip to Bournemouth for the weekend, I still can't believe what an amazing beach it has.

One minute Christmas is on its way and then the next it is gone, until another year.

It is good to look back on these times, especially for my us (my husband and I) and our son.

Here are some photos I took of our Christmas this year.

Spending time in one of our favourite places, just my hubby and I. The Southbank London, and our Christmas up in Southampton, visiting my husbands family.

Hi All! A new post for my Gallery page, of a great birthday weekend. Henry celebrating his 3rd birthday and my big brother celebrating his 40th.

It was a great weekend, shame it went so fast, but got to see a lot of family. Henry even got a visit from his grandparents from Southampton.

There is an old photo of my brother and I as children with our cousins, to mark 40 years of my brothers life.

Some Pics from the last month and week

I wanted to share some photos from the last month and the last week.

One of our favourite places in the Epsom Downs with its amazing view of London.

Then my mum and I took Henry to Hobbledown, where there was a farm and some activities and playgrounds for children. Great little place to go if you want a little time out with your kids.

On the bank holiday weekend my hubby and I had a picnic and a drink in Hyde Park in London, looking out onto the Serpentine.

I have decided to put together a short slideshow of some photos which really have some true meaning behind them, as sadly we have lost one of our close family members and want to put this up to remember a few of the great times we have had together.

This image is of my son, Henry and my niece Gracie, dining together at Nanny and Grandpa's in London. Apparently my son was stealing some of Gracie's crisps, probably why she is looking as if to say "Hey eat your own crisps". I love this photo, and it's these sorts of photographs I love the most, as they are natural and say so much about our kids, when they are so young.

May bank holiday, I apologise for not doing a Days in my Life video, just lost track of time. I may still do some sort of vlog to show the weekend. It was brilliant having Elv's (my husband's) family down. They travelled all the way from Lincoln, Southampton and Christ Church and it was such a great weekend. Putney on Saturday, stayed local to home on Sunday and then Richmond (which where this photo is taken from) on the Bank Holiday Monday. I wish I could remember the coffee shop this was sitting outside of, as it was the nicest coffee I had, had.
Picture
Henry with his Uncle Pluto, taken when he came down to see us during May bank holiday. Henry knew who he was as soon as he walked out of the Train Station and was so pleased to see him. He has been fantastic to us, with Henry. Our son is truly blessed to have such lovely family.

Love making this cake. This is the Betty Crockers Classic Coffee Cake mix, with the Betty Crocker Classic Coffee Buttercream Icing. Using Minstrels for decoration, into a kind of Union Jack. I have posted a video showing me using the cake mix, to those who may be new to baking and want something easy, quick and simple before using a recipe from scratch to make a cake.

Steak dinner. One of mine and my husbands favourite meals. He cooked this for me on Valentines day and on Mothers Day and I cooked this meal for him on his birthday. I love these special meals together. It is those little things that has helped us become #strongertogetherforever.

I love sharing my life through pictures and there will be more to come.

Many thanks for checking my Gallery page out, see you again soon.

Fashion, Accessories and New Homeware

So Freemans sent this to me last week and I really have had to hold myself back from jumping on their online shopping and going on a spending spree as there are some lovely clothes on offer from casual everyday to holiday gear, workout clothes, shoes and plenty of accessories. I am in no way sponsored by them at all, I am a personal account holder and often use their store to add to my wardrobe.

Their prices can be slightly high compared to Dorothy Perkins and Debenhams (other stores I often use) and one of the tunic jumpers I got last year didn't wash well, but the wedges I bought and the navy blue shoes I bought are really comfortable and love to wear.

So I finally got round to unwrapping this frames that I bought on my Christmas Holiday in Lincoln this year from the store Homesense which I instantly fell in love with. I could have shopped in their all day. I bought this frames to put some photos in of Family and close friends that I consider as family to, and to be put in our guest bedroom. As that room will be all white, and be our family and close friends themed room.

They were £4.99 a piece and put in a photo in one of my cousins from a family reunion we had some years ago, and the other of a picture of Henry with his Uncle Bluto.

This is of some items I bought from TKMaxx another favourite store of mine, and whenever we pass there I have to go in, and I rarely come out of there without buying something. I am not to keen on their clothes only because they can be set out quite untidy and you really have to hunt through to find something you like. I do like their homeware, their toiletries and craft ranges. I alway go over to this section to have a look.

The frame you see was recycled and knew would look great with my other novelty photo frames in my bedroom, so had to buy this was £4.99. The Moments of Genius is weekly organiser pages which I love and would most definitely use this was £4.99, the bag caught my eye and now I use this everyday since buying on the back of my pushchair and to work to put snacks, my book and extra bits I need for work. It is a picnic bag which came with containers inside and a cool disc to keep your food chilled and use. Great idea, this was £5.99 and the white plastic storage box was for my food cupboard to help with space and to put my tinned food in, and was £1.99.

Examples of some goodies you can get from Boots. I save up my points, which I did when buying these items in the photo. The Bibs are part of a gift that I am putting together.

Superdrug were doing a great deal on Nivea toiletries. The two Nivea Show Creams, were 96p lowest price paid so far and the Face Cleansing Gel was £1.75.

As Dorothy Perkins were doing a 25% sale I took advantage, and bought these items as I needed some more Denim leggings as I had out worn my jeggings I bought from Avon, to the point one pair had a massive hole in them.
