I am sad that there is no more Call The Midwife until next year, and I was so shocked and sad that Sister Evangelina died, I was like "No, she can't die". She is such a good actress that you can believe her being that person, same with all the cast. It is a great series.
The great thing about it, is based on true stories.
The book Call The Midwife, is a fabulous read. I read this some time ago now, but would definitely recommend, as there are some characters and stories in the book that you would recognise from the TV series. Gripping tales with a bit of history, is one sentence I would describe the book as.
She has written others from that time period aswell which are on my wish list to read. see link:
It is about a guy who is working in a hotel as The Night Manager, who is recruited by a government agency as there is a ruthless Arms Dealer.
Very like James Bond Mi6 spy series, and the actor who plays the part of The Night Manager is very easy on the eye, so more reason to watch.
I have been loving The Voice, was sad that Tom Jones, was to no longer in it, as I thought he was a great impact on the show. However being an 80's fan, loving Boy George coaching and the Battle Rounds, and so it will be interesting to find out who will be staying and going this week.
So I will going to end this blog here today, as I sniffle with another cold, and will go downstairs to prepare for dinner time and wind down for the evening, as back to work for me tomorrow.
Have a great week people. All those who are having Oatmeal and Waffles, I hope you enjoy.
Great weekend, and thank you for reading,
