"You can change your life- easy steps to getting what you want" by Rob Yeung, is a really good book to help towards changing your life.
There are some exercises to try, for example working on creating new habits, by focusing on one habit at a time that you wish to change.
I disagreed about what he says about visualization about it doesn't work, as I think it does, it certainly has helped me, but I thought most the book I was really interesting. It is good to read from another person perception even if there are areas you find you don't agree with.
I give book 8 out of 10.
I listen to this book called Entrepreneur: Anthony Robbins: 7 Life Changing Lessons.
He talks about how he reads everyday and the benefits of doing so, setting goals and habits that will change your life and about how he prays everyday and his beliefs as a entrepreneur.
I really brilliant read and great one to add to my list.
Will give it 9 out 10.
Brilliant book I listened to on Audible.com Awaken The Giant Within, How to Take Immediate Control of your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny.
I have read this book too, but wanted to listen to it aswell, and it really awakens the mind, to changing your beliefs and setting goals, and how to reach and live those goals.
Brilliant book written by Anthony Robbins. I give 10 out of 10.
Wild by Cheryl Strayed.
Tells her story of walking the PCT and what lead her decision to walk the PCT.
She had lost everything her mother to cancer, her family had grown apart and got divorced from her husband Paul.
This is a brilliant story and would love to see the film, staring Reese Witherspoon.
I give the book 10 out of 10.
Hi and welcome to my Spring Book Review, sorry it has been a while since posting a review. I did read a Christmas book since my last review, but felt it was too late to write a review on it so skipped a review.
The book I read was called, Memoirs Of An Imaginary Friend, by Matthew Green.
It is based on an an imaginary friend called Budo, whom is Max's imaginary friend, and tries to protect him from being bullied at school and is basically the only friend Max really has, as he is a bit of a loner and doesn't mix with the other kids and won't do activities like the other kids at school does, or behaves the same. Max lives in his own little bubble and the only person who really knows him is Budo. Max disappears whilst meeting one of the teaches outside of school and Budo goes to try and save him, to bring him back home, but he has to find him first.
This was a really clever book as it is written by the imaginary friend point of view rather than from a real person and really tells the story of his real friend Max and of himself. It really is a well written book and definately be in my top ten favourite books I have read. I would give the book 10 out of 10.
Brilliantly written book by Fiona Neill, based on a stay at home mum called, Lucy, who has three children, and documents her life as a busy stay at home, and has a secret crush on another dad, which at first is all in her mind, until her dreams and fantasy nearly come into reality. She gets into all sorts of trouble but manages to get herself out of trouble too.
Loved this book. If you like a great chick flick kind of book then this is a great read, why not choose this for the winter months and Christmas.
I give 9 out 10.
I read this book quite quickly very easy to read, it is about set of children when the second World War landed in England, and aimed for the South Coast, Brighton, were left behind as they missed the last train out of Brighton to London, to be with their families, so they had to defend for themselves, but they soon realise they aren't alone after all and some other children get left behind too.
Good read, not my favourite book I have read based on the Second World War but still glad I read it.
I would give it a 8 out of 10.
So sorry for taking so long to write a new book review, I had read some books during the summer but found it tricky to finish them,. until I found this book.
Forbidden is about a lady called Annie, whom is an architect, and manages to find a job of her dreams designing a building for a man named Colin who wanted it for his gallery, but then she meets some hansom guy at a bar and her life changes.
She tries to lose herself in her work, but the contractor Colin finds happens to be the guy she met, but she finds out is totally forbidden.
I managed to finish this book in about 2 to 3 weeks and couldn't put it down; it was full of mystery and action, and definitely a book I would call my guilty pleasure.
I give the book 10 out of 10
A new book review, and it is a book I finished in the middle of the month. The first edition of this book I lost, so had to hunt for another copy in the library and as luck has it, I found the book. It is about girl named Maggie, who causes a fire, which causes the death of some children and some injured, who end up with scars not just physically but emotionally too.
One of those victims is Keith who can't help but show the scars he has from the fire on his face, and is looked after by his mother who thinks Maggie should have paid more for the fire she caused. Sara goes missing and Keith has no idea why, so Laurel, Maggie's mother hires a private detective to search for her.
There is what appears to be a young girl called Jen, she begins to date Keith who thinks he has landed on his feet, but she also befriends Maggie too.
A good read, you hear Maggie's, Sara's and Keith side of the story. Then it all ends up tying together, but keeps you in suspense throughout. It did drag on in parts and was a little disappointed with parts of the story, nevertheless a good read.
Total Rating: 8 out of 10.
