This book is written by Linda Thomas who runs her own cleaning company. She talks about how cleaning can be more than seeing a clean kitchen surface, it can make a difference to how you think and feel in your work environment and your home.
There was a part of the book I didn't believe, where she is talking about how cleaning can change the atmosphere of a room and the particular example she used was when she had cleaned a school or college. In the example she explains about a youngster who was attending the college had an epileptic fit which then lead to there being complete and utter mayhem, but suddenly a lady walks into the room with a duster, begins to clean and then the atmosphere of the room changes. Probably being a bit skeptical but I suppose I had to be there but was a bit like, "I don't believe that" .
However most parts of the book were interesting and at the end of the book she gives some tips of how to get rid of different stains on carpet and fabrics and chemicals to use. I even wrote down parts and would buy to keep so I have it to hand for inspiration.
I give it a 8 out of 10.
