Gift Ideas For a Tuesday in case you have any birthdays coming up too

First of all I hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend. I was working through most of it, so didn't get to enjoy the time off, but I know that others did, which was good.

I have managed to get a few bits done already today, such as a bit of dusting and sorting out Henry's room, washed my hair; no don't blame me for the rain which it usually does when my hair is washed, but it was already raining; I have my birthday cards ready as it is my husband's and Niece's birthday tomorrow. Yes they share the same day.

Sadly my husband is working tomorrow but I have planned to cook him a nice dinner of his choice, Steak and Chips.
Then we are both off at the weekend, which I am so looking forward to and going to take my hubby out up London, as he wishes for some trainers. I have bought him something he can open on the day, got to wrap this up still.

Part of my nieces present arrived this morning. If you are looking for some gifts, do shop around. It is so easy to just get out the cash and buy something on the spur of the moment. However you may find you can get the item at a lower price if you look around first. Amazon, Etsy and Notonthehighstreet.com have some really lovely items. All items on Etsy have to all be me handmade or created by the sellers themselves. So you can get some really unique and different items.

I sometimes also check out websites such as, Photobox, Vistaprint and Moonpig.com for personalised gifts I can create. I always have a clear picture in my mind of what I want to buy as a gift, and then I will look around. I don't always necessarily write it down, for birthdays, but I will have an image in my head first so I have an idea of what I wish to purchase before I buy.

I have also purchased Photo gift items from Boots aswell, but I don't like their delivery service as they say they will turn up on this date, and between this time, and twice now they haven't. These were Mother and Baby items. You have no idea when the photo items are going to turn up. When I ordered them to be collected at my local Boots store, they couldn't find them and weren't there on the day they said they would be. I like how the photos and frames turned out, but wouldn't use them, because there online service items aren't always reliable. I could still order in store but I like to order online as I can play around with the photos and personalise the items before I buy, so I can create them with a bit of my own touch.

Photo cards, you don't need to pay for these all the time, if you have a good enough printer that does photo printing, I would recommend, Laser printers to be the best and the specific photo printers, which you can insert your SD card into, and create a personalised photo card at home. If you don't have a printer then Moonpig is always my substitute, where I will create personalised cards on. Always reliable and they arrive on time always as stated. When you print at home your photos, don't buy photo paper from the high street, buy online, always so much better in price and still good enough quality.

Where do I buy my photo paper from?

Always Amazon, but again don't buy the paper at the first price you see, keep looking first.

So going to end things here for today, I will be vlogging this week, not decided from which day but it will include my husband's and I weekend, and I do plan to do another Haul video soon aswell, so once this is done and uploaded I will post it on Carriesrealworld.com for you all to see.

Anyway have a good week people and many thanks for reading,

Carrie X

Tuesdays are a time to catch up on what I didn't get done on Monday after my son's Monkey Music class and getting any food shopping we need.
